You may be switching from another email marketing tool. Maybe you want to import a bunch of subscribers from your CRM into Upscribe. Well in either case, we've made it super easy to import contacts to Upscribe from a CSV file!

Importing a CSV file of Contacts

You can easily import a CSV of contacts (exported from Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.) by going to your Contacts list page via the Contacts button in the top menu. Once on the contacts page, press the Import button in the top right corner.

That will bring up a popup that looks like this...

Via this form you can attach a CSV file from your computer, select a tag to assign your newly-imported contacts (this is optional) and then press Import CSV to start your import.

Your import will then begin. Sometimes larger imports take a bit longer so we'll automatically send you an email when your import is finished πŸ‘.

Importing just one or two Contacts?

Maybe you just have one or two contacts that you'd like to import. That's easy too! From the Contacts page, just hit the New Contact button in the top right corner. Once you've clicked, you'll be taken to a form where you can "manually" type fill out your new contact's profile. Hit save. Boom. Done!

Bulk tag-update for contacts

You can bulk update tags for contacts two different ways. Either by selecting contacts and pressing the Tag bulk action...

Or by re-importing a CSV file of your existing contacts with the desired tag selected (see GIF in the section above).
